With Vilen on a top secret mission to learn the whereabouts of the German invasion heading towards the City of Stalingrad, the Germans are making plans on how they should attack the city to ensure a quick victory over the Soviets. Knowing the city is susceptible to air strike the Germans have decided to heavily bomb the city to destroy the majority of its structure before they advance through the streets to claim the remains of Stalingrad.
Von Shizinburg, one of the key German ground fighters, was aware of the proposed plan and started to worry… German solders were not suited for CQB unlike the Soviets who excelled in this area.
Von Shizinburg, “General Sir, while I agree opening the battle with air supported bombing will give us an initial
advantage, our soldiers are not suited for CQB combat. This will pass the advantage back to the Soviets.”
General, “Von you bring up a good point, but after our airstrike is over there will be nothing left to the city, a few Soviet resistance fighters are no match for our tanks and ground fighters.”
Von Shizinburg, “What about if the Soviets know we are coming? They may be able to evade the initial airstrikes…”
General, “We have nothing to worry about, trust me!”
Little do the Germans know the Soviets are preparing for battle and Vilen has found new information that could turn the tides of the Battle of Stalingrad.
Who will win this battle? What side will you be fighting for? Make your decision on the day of the Battle!
