Good afternoon everyone. This is Travis from Frontline Paintball. I just got back from Canadian Dealer Day in Toronto and I have TONS of news to share with you guys! I attended a Tippmann tech class, Eclipse tech class for the new LV1, and a G&G tech course. I also met some other field owners/managers and learned a ton of new things.
I can hardly decide where to start. First thing I did was the Tippmann course. I have done this course twice before and even after taking HUNDREDS of Tippmann markers apart I was still able to learn a few new tips and tricks. We are now FULLY certified in ALL Tippmann markers. We are the only place in Newfoundland and one of the few in Canada to be fully certified from Tippmann.
The second course I did was the Planet Eclipse course for the new Ego LV1. This is the first paintball gun ever made using a lever to activate the valve. The design of the gun allows for a smoother shot than other markers including previous egos. I was blown away by this marker. I have owned over 30 different markers including 4 egos and this one was leaps and bounds above the rest. It is quieter than a GEO3, Shoots just as smooth, if not SMOOTHER than a Dye DM13 and is more efficient than virtually ANY marker made today. 1850-2000 shots on a 68/4500 tank. Many markers claim to get an insane number of shots that just isn't realistic. Well we shot the LV1 and it really does get this number of shots off every single time.
Due to the design of the bolt and the smoothness of each shot it is able to shoot the most brittle paint on the market. Paint not even an Angel marker would handle. In my opinion this marker will be the one to have this year. 5 or 6 pros teams will be shooting it at the next PSP event. I am willing to bet at least 2 of the top 3 teams will be shooting them.
Day 3 of the event we did the G&G tech course. This was a learning experience. Most problems are easy to fix however taking apart a gearbox can be challenging for sure. In the near future (a couple of weeks) we will be offering repairs and upgrades on airsoft guns!
Throughout the 3 days I was also able to see some new products from many different companies. The new JT Impulse, new color TM15 and AXE’s and even some info on the Empire Vanquish. The coolest thing however was the Tiberius T15. This marker was built inside of a real AR body. The mags hold 19 first strike or 20 normal paintballs. The mag design was so secretive they had the internals taken out so nobody was able to see. The first strike rounds sit inside of each other and flip into firing position when they load into the gun. There is no official price released yet but it is expected to be around $599.99. If it is at that price you can expect this marker to DOMINATE the mag fed scene.
All in all it was a great experience. I learned new things, got to see brand new products and meet some great people. This trip was just an example of the many things we do each year to bring you the best paintball and airsoft service possible. If you would like to see some pictures of the new products check us out on facebook at: www.facebook,com/frontlinecanada
I hope you enjoyed the blog and are as excited as we are about all of the new products. I will be in Ottawa and London this week doing more courses and seeing new stuff so be sure to check out my next blog as well!
